The Magiplug can be used in either a bath, sink, or basin.

It works using a pressure activated system:

When an unattended bath reaches a certain depth the pressure plate opens and releases the excess water safely down the plughole, preventing a flood - this level will be maintained until the taps are turned off.

The Magiplug also changes colour at 36° to help prevent scalding and it can be attached to your existing bath chain for ease of use.

The Magiplug is a must have product for anybody that is prone to forgetfulness. A cheap but effective alternative to costly flood damage repairs.

Suitable Depths:

Bath - Minimum 15" deep
Kitchen Sinks - Minimum 6.5" deep
Bathroom Basins more than 5" deep

disapointing plug

These plugs a complete waste of money, I bought 2 they dont fit in the plughole only rest on them therefore they knock away too easily and they dont hold the water as they say they do the water seaps away slowly would run out before finishing your bath. the kitchen one , you can only put in one dish at a time or you catch the plug then it moves away from the plughole utterly waste of money

What we recommend with the Magiplug (and all of our other products) is to keep all original packaging and to ensure that the plug is suitable for you sink, bath, or basin as soon as you receive it.

We've had a few accidents of overflowing sinks, so I wanted something which was a quick and inexpensive solution to help stop this. This seemed to be the answer. We haven't had a chance to test it yet, but the service from this company was great.
