The Border Patrol Safety Beam is an exceptionally effective device to help reduce the danger associated with wandering.
The two units create an invisible infrared beam that sounds an alarm when broken.
The Border Patrol Safety Beam alarm is customisable:
- Continuous, Intermittent, or Single toned
- Low, medium, or high sound control.
Both units can be operated using DC9v 300mA mains adaptors (not included) with batteries as a back-up in case of a power-cut.
The Border Patrol Safety Beam can be used to prevent wandering in Alzheimer's. It can be used at night to prevent night-time wandering, or in the day to prevent access to possibly dangerous areas of the house.
