This Automatic Pill Dispenser with it’s enhanced functionality and proven reliability, is the preferred choice among professional care agencies within the NHS and Local Authority Social Services.
- Dispenses pills up to 4 times a day
- Large compartments (up to 12 aspirin sized pills)
- Easily filled & programmed
- Battery operated (portable)
The Automatic Pill Dispenser is a perfect memory aid and uses an alarm and flashing light to remind users when to take their medication.
The Automatic Pill Dispenser allows users to access their correct dosage of medication, at the appropriate time of day or night, whilst also keeping other pills locked out of sight.
How it works - User's Perspective
At a preprogrammed time the Automatic Pill Dispenser will sound an alarm (and flashing light) to remind the user to take their medication, at this point the unit will also rotate the compartment so that the medication can be accessed.
When the user tips the unit to retrieve the medication the alarm and flashing light will cancel.
- User can only access 1 dose of medicine at a time, prevents double dosing
- Low battery alert
- Alarm + flashing light sounds for 30 minutes unless user takes medication
- Loud volume alarm
Refillable at your local pharmacy
To help with the refilling of medication at a pharmacy, the Automatic Pill Dispenser comes with a medication label and retaining case.
We recommend adding a Spare Tray to your order if you intend to refill the dispenser at a pharmacy, as this allows you to rotate the trays so the user always has access to their pill dispenser.
This can be done by ticking the box located next to the product image: "Spare Tray for Automatic Pill Dispenser".
