The Automatic Pill Dispenser is a perfect memory aid and uses an alarm and flashing light to remind users when to take their medication.
The Automatic Pill Dispenser will allow users to access their correct dosage of medication, at the appropriate time of day or night, whilst also keeping other pills locked out of sight.
How it works
At a preprogrammed time, the Dispenser will sound an alarm and a flashing light to remind the user to take their medication, at this point the unit will also rotate the compartment so that the medication can be accessed. When the user tips the unit to access the medication the alarm and flashing light will cancel. The Dispenser can also be set to activate two compartments for a single alarm, this can be extremely useful for larger medication doses.
Safety
The Dispenser also has an optional battery case screw to ensure that the batteries are not accidentally removed or tampered with. There is also a battery level meter to accurately check when batteries need replacement, and the unit will automatically adjust for daylight saving (British Summer Time / Greenwich Mean Time).
Refillable at your local pharmacy
To help with the refilling of medication at a pharmacy, there is also a medication label carrier and retaining case. Many pharmacies will fill the dispenser upon request, including Boots, however advanced warning or information about the dispenser may be required, depending on the specific pharmacy.
Included with the dispenser are day/time discs for 1-4 medication prompts a day. These are used to help refilling the individual compartments an efficient and accurate process.
